 It is getting harder and herder every day to gain acceptance to the college of your choice. There is just so much competition that students are left virtually fighting for their spots in Freshmen classes. Students will take every little bit of help that they can get, because nothing hurts when talking about college admissions. Here are some secrets to college admissions that I compiled for your benefit.

Every student applying to college faces this essay question and spends hours stressing over how to answer it. Fortunately, we have a solution that will make this question easy.

2012 College Rankings
It is that time of year again... US News and World Reports just came out with their 2012 college rankings and for anyone who follows the college admissions game, it is a big deal.

Every student feels that his or her SAT score is not high enough. Fortunately, (s)he can retake the test as many times as possible before applying to college and earn the post possible score. Is it worth it to retake the SAT?

There are many factors that go into picking which college you want to attend. Does social life mean a lot to you or do you prefer to sit in the library and study with others? There are just so many things to consider and we want to help you.

US News and World Reports 2011 College rankings compare the top universities in the country. Know where the school you want to attend ranks. This is must know information for every college bound senior who will be applying in the fall.
 
Just like with the SATs, everyone who takes the ACT wants to know what a good score is. It all depends on where you want to apply and what your future plans are. For some a 25 might be very good, while others might not be happy until they score 32s. Other factors matter for college admissions, but ACT scores are pretty important. Either way, you should have a general sense of what schools you should apply to and the average ACT scores there.

Everyone wants to know what a good SAT score is today. Is 1800 good? Is 2010 good? What is good? The truth is that any score can be good depending on the student and the college. SAT scores are not everything however. Regardless, you should know the range of scores that you want to shoot for and some schools that fall within that range.
