Welcome to Teen College Education, a blog written by a high school student for other high school students and parents.

Hey,
So my name is Andy and I am currently a high school student in Los Angeles, California. I think of myself as a good student, as I have A's in almost all of my classes. I take and have taken every AP and honors class available to me (4 this year alone), so I understand the stress involved with this path through high school. I originally started this blog because I just wanted to make enough money from advertising to buy myself a new car (generally the high school dream) and then pay for college, but after a while, I started to really enjoy blogging as a way to relieve stress, among other things. I got really into blogging for the sake of blogging, although I still have my dream to buy a new car (Mazda Miata hard top or Honda S2000) with advertising money haha. I really want to learn how to drive stick if I ever get a Honda S2000.

Most of my high school articles come from real life, high school, experiences. Many of the issues that I write about affect me as much as they do other high school students, which is why I feel that I am qualified to comment on them. Most of my writing is and will be biased in favor of the students, but for obvious reasons. However, I may surprise some of you once in a while.

My articles specifically about college come from research and my own interpretation. I have visited many colleges (all of the Ivys) and heard all of their bits as well as read other articles about college. Some of my articles might seem like common sense to some, and not so common to others, so I write them so that everyone can learn. Lastly, I add some of my own experiences and panache to my college articles so that other high school students can relate. Most importantly, and I cannot stress this enough, is for EVERYONE to go to college!!

If you cannot contain the urge to talk to me, would like to donate a car, help me on my mission to buy one, or support my college dreams, then here is my email address:
